The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue active offensive operations, delivering systematic strikes against the enemy's critically important targets. On the night of July 25 and throughout July 24, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) confirmed the execution of a large-scale operation aimed at reducing the military-economic potential of the Russian Federation.
Strikes on Crimea and occupied territories
Special attention during the operation was paid to targets on temporarily occupied territories. The Ukrainian defense forces successfully struck an early warning radar station located near the settlement of Yelenovka in Crimea. The destruction of such objects deprives the enemy of the ability to effectively monitor airspace and plan its actions.
Furthermore, an enemy ammunition depot in the Novosemenivka area of the Kherson region was hit. The destruction of logistics hubs and weapon depots inflicts direct damage to the combat effectiveness of Russian units at the front.
Decimation of drone command centers
A significant portion of efforts was focused on countering the unmanned threat. Ukrainian military forces struck Russian drone command centers in several key regions:
- Belovodovo (Sumy region);
- Lednevo (Bryansk region, Russian Federation);
- Kamianske, Novoiivanka, and Myrne (Zaporizhzhia region);
- Komarovo (Donetsk region).
These strikes are aimed at disrupting the work of enemy reconnaissance groups and reducing the effectiveness of drone usage in combat conditions.
Deep rear and strategic targets
In addition to border zones, Ukrainian forces continue to strike deep into the aggressor's rear. Specifically, an enemy command and observation post in the Kazachya Lisitsa area of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation was hit.
On the night of July 25, according to data from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a series of long-range strikes reached even more distant targets. The following were hit:
- An oil refinery in Tyumen;
- A logistics facility in Yekaterinburg;
- A train carrying fuel and lubricants in Rostov-on-Don;
- Vessels and a warship in the Caspian Sea engaged in transporting military cargo.
The General Staff of the AFU emphasized that the Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to systematically carry out measures aimed at stopping the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
