Vilkul reported that the strike damaged buildings in both the private and multi-story residential sectors, as well as educational institutions, cultural facilities, and businesses. An emergency rescue operation is underway in the city. To coordinate assistance to residents, a headquarters is being set up in the Central City district, which, according to the mayor, will be located near the nearest fountain. Through the headquarters, building materials are planned to be distributed, applications for city assistance accepted, and utility crews dispatched to the damaged addresses.

At the same time, the outlet Euronews, in a headline dated August 21, reports that the number of victims of the strike on the shopping center "has risen to 16," while the English-language version of the same publication cites figures of "at least six killed and 91 injured."
