On the night of July 19, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a large-scale series of strikes against critically important military and military-economic targets on Russian territory and in the waters under its control. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the operation was aimed at disrupting the enemy's logistical chains and undermining its energy infrastructure.

Strikes on Maritime Logistics

Particular attention was paid to maritime communications. As reported by RBK-Ukraine citing military sources, two Russian tankers were hit in the Black Sea. According to the General Staff, these vessels were used to transport oil, petroleum products, and fuel necessary for the activities of the Russian Armed Forces.

In the Sea of Azov, a floating crane was hit. This facility played a key role in supporting port operations, handling the loading and unloading of cargo. Its damage directly affects the functioning of the maritime logistics of the occupying army.

Destruction of Equipment and Infrastructure on Land

The Armed Forces of Ukraine did not limit themselves to maritime targets only. Strikes were launched against land-based targets on temporarily occupied territories that are critical for the advance and supply of Russian troops:

  • Buk SAM System: A Buk surface-to-air missile system, which was part of the enemy's air defense system, was hit near the village of Zelenopole in the Zaporizhzhia region.
  • Road Bridge: A bridge was attacked in the Novoeconomic area of the Donetsk region. The General Staff notes that Russian troops actively used this crossing to support their military logistics.

Comprehensive Nature of the Operation

These strikes were part of a broader night operation. On the night of July 19, drones of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a series of attacks not only against logistics but also against energy infrastructure. In particular, substations were hit on temporarily occupied territories, including Crimea, as well as a cargo ship in the Black Sea.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will systematically continue activities aimed at stopping the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, delivering targeted strikes against the enemy's supply and command nodes.
