Former TV host and ex-head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration Oleksandr Skichko celebrated his ninth wedding anniversary in October 2026 and warmly congratulated his wife, businesswoman Yelyzaveta Yurusheva, on her birthday. On this occasion, he posted a series of family photos on Instagram and shared the challenging life chapter of his wife's relocation to Italy following the outbreak of the full-scale war.

Difficult Start Abroad and Business Creation

According to Oleksandr Skichko, Yelyzaveta Yurusheva moved to Italy at the age of 34 with their children, while holding a four-week-old baby in her arms. In the new country, she effectively had to build her life from scratch, leaving behind her established career in the hotel business. In Italy, she decided to try her hand in the fashion industry and founded her own clothing brand.

As the former official and showman noted, in just two years of hard work, the young brand reached the international market and is now sold on every continent. Yelyzaveta's business travel destinations include countries such as Switzerland, Germany, the USA, Japan, and China, highlighting the scale of success achieved in the fashion sector.

Living Across Two Countries and Family Values

Today, the family lives across two countries: Oleksandr remains in Ukraine, where he continues to develop his own business and launched an educational English-language YouTube project, while Yelyzaveta and the children settled in Milan. Skichko periodically visits his family in Italy, and despite the distance, the couple finds time for joint trips and family vacations.

The couple is raising three children: joint daughters Natalia and Anna, the youngest of whom was born in April 2022 in Vienna, as well as Yelyzaveta's older son Daniel from a previous marriage. Oleksandr admitted that he genuinely admires his wife's ability to combine parenting with the intensive development of an international business, calling her the best mother and wife.

Significance of Life Changes and Support

The story of Skichko and Yurusheva's family reflects the realities of many Ukrainian families who had to adapt to massive challenges and radically change their lives after the start of the full-scale invasion. Public recognition of his wife's success and mutual support demonstrate the strength of their union, which successfully overcomes the test of distance and new career challenges.
