Actress Olena Svitlytska shared her impressions of participating in the musical show "Holos Krayiny" (The Voice of Ukraine) in a blitz interview with Styler (RBK-Ukraine project). For her, this experience was fundamentally new: for the first time, she found herself on the other side of the stage—not as a listener of her favorite artists, but as a performer singing in front of them. "Of course, I was nervous and waiting to see who would turn around. It's also a big responsibility, because usually I listen to these artists and their songs myself. And suddenly they are listening to you!," Svitlytska recalls. Her first reaction to Natalia Mohylovska turning around was, in her words, genuine delight: "Wow! Wow!"

An Experienced Producer's Assessment as Validation

Svitlytska emphasized that Mohylovska's reaction was particularly valuable to her. The actress noted the producer's many years of experience working with a whole galaxy of Ukrainian artists and helping them develop in their profession. "I felt that, perhaps, I am worth something in singing after all, because Natalia Mohylovska is a producer with huge experience. For me, her choice became a special confirmation that I am on the right path," Svitlytska explained. Thus, the chair turn had less of a competitive meaning for her and more of a professional and emotional one.

Participation as a Dream, Not a Test

Despite her anxiety, the actress consciously refused to perceive going on stage as an exam determining her talent or value as an artist. "For me, the mere opportunity to perform in front of such artists was already a great joy. Even if no one had turned around, I would have told my little inner girl: 'Alenka, you did well! You dared, showed yourself, and made your dream come true.' Therefore, I did not perceive participation in the project as a situation where I could lose something," she said. Svitlytska viewed the show primarily as an opportunity to try herself in a new role, overcome internal barriers, and gain experience.

Why Mohylovska Specifically

Even before her performance, Svitlytska admitted that she most wanted to get into Natalia Mohylovska's team. The actress resonates with the internal transformations that, in her opinion, the singer has gone through, as well as her attitude toward creativity and audiences. "This is a woman who has learned to bring light to the viewer, to serve people through her art. On stage, she thinks not only about herself or her own creative ego, but also about what she can give to people," Svitlytska explained. She also noted that she would like to adopt Mohylovska's "scale of thinking": the ability to see the creative process as a system where different elements unite for a common result—the approach of a director and producer, rather than just a stage performer.

Context: Tsymbaliuk's Support and the Wedding Question

Recall that it was previously reported: during Svitlytska's performance, her partner Serhii Tsymbaliuk came on stage to give her spectacular support. Also, during the show, Mohylovska asked Svitlytska a question about her wedding with Tsymbaliuk, to which the actress gave a public answer. These episodes became part of the couple's overall narrative of participation in the project and drew additional audience attention to their performance.
