Theater and film actress Olena Svitlytska, in a blitz interview for the entertainment project Styler (RBC-Ukraine), commented on Tina Karol's spontaneous reaction during her performance on the show "Holos Krainy". According to the artist, the singer, unable to see the performer on stage, took off her shoes and started dancing right in the coach's chair — exactly as Svitlytska herself did while performing the song "Samotnya bosa".

"On the Same Wavelength": How Karol Reacted to the Blind Audition

During the blind audition, Olena Svitlytska came on stage and, yielding to the rhythm of the track, kicked off her shoes, completely surrendering to the music. Tina Karol, who at that moment could not see the artist and was guided exclusively by her sense of hearing, also took off her shoes and began dancing on her coach's chair. Svitlytska admitted that such a reaction was an unexpected and very pleasant surprise for her: "I was very pleased that Tina Karol turned out to be on the same wavelength as me and also felt that she needed to take off her shoes and dance barefoot."

Freedom from Conventions: What Stood Behind the Improvisation

The actress explained that the decision to dance barefoot was not pre-planned. "I just wanted to be free, not hold myself back, and live this song to the fullest. And it was especially pleasant to see that Tina Karol felt it the same way. It was a very lively, emotional moment that you cannot plan in advance," she shared. According to her, at that moment the rhythm of the music, her inner state, and emotions coincided organically, turning the performance into a genuine improvisation.

The Personal Story of the Song "Samotnya bosa"

The composition "Samotnya bosa" holds not only stage significance for Svitlytska but also a deeply personal meaning. The actress recalled an episode from a tour when, after a performance, a group of actors gathered in a venue to relax. There was a musical instrument and a microphone there, and Olena seized the opportunity: she took the microphone and performed "Samotnya bosa", dedicating the song to her colleagues. "I wanted to cheer them up after the play, to give them a little joy after fatigue. And it worked! Everyone cheered up, stood up, and started dancing," she said.

An Unexpected Surprise for Colleagues

Svitlytska added that many of her theater colleagues did not even know she could sing, so the impromptu performance came as a pleasant surprise to them. The artist emphasized that her goal was simply to support her friends after a busy workday and help them relax, but the spontaneous performance turned into a joint celebration. This episode, she said, cemented the song's status as "special" in her creative and personal experience — which is why on the stage of "Holos Krainy" it sounded with renewed strength for her.

As a reminder, Olena Svitlytska is known to audiences from the films "House 'Word'" and "Infinite Romance", as well as her theater work. Previously, she gave an interview where she commented on rumors about a romance with actor Taras Tsymbaliuk, calling him a close friend and colleague.
