On October 30, Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, stated that Ukrainians who expressed a desire to leave Oleshky were already on their way to a safe place, and the humanitarian mission was finalizing the evacuation of over 750 people. According to him, humanitarian aid was successfully delivered to the location, and the ceasefire continued in the mission area without violations. The Ombudsman's statement, according to RBC-Ukraine, coincided with a comment by US First Lady Melania Trump on social network X regarding the preparation of the evacuation convoy.

Convoy on the Move: Composition and Scale

According to the American side, the evacuation convoy included 25 buses, 50 medical workers, and ambulances. As Lubinets emphasized, everyone who wanted to leave Oleshky received this opportunity and is now moving to a safe region. Photographs from the scene show a white bus with an «UKRAINE» sign on the windshield, which corresponds to the practice of marking vehicles of the Ukrainian humanitarian delegation.

Ceasefire: 87 Hours Without Violations

The Ombudsman noted that a ceasefire has been in effect in the humanitarian mission area for 87 consecutive hours, during which not a single violation was recorded. According to previously known data, this regime began operating on October 27 and, under the agreements, is to last until November 1. Maintaining the ceasefire, according to the Ukrainian authorities, created the necessary conditions for the safe passage of the convoy and the distribution of aid.

Diplomatic Coordination

All measures for safe passage, as stated, were agreed upon during negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian leaders under the coordination of US First Lady Melania Trump. The mission's work was carried out in accordance with agreements previously reached with the Human Rights Commissioner in the Russian Federation Yana Lantratova. Commenting on the preparation of the convoy, Melania Trump stated: «Our priority is to save lives».

Chronology of October 30

On the same day, October 30, the Ukrainian delegation, having reached Oleshky, initiated the evacuation and distribution of humanitarian aid, after which it headed to Anapa together with the evacuated residents of the city. Thus, the mission went through several stages—from the arrival of the delegation to the removal of people and the delivery of aid—within the framework of the agreed humanitarian corridor.
