Falling debris from an enemy target was recorded in the Poltava hromada. According to information published by Vitaliy Dyakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, on Telegram and relayed by RBC-Ukraine, the incident caused damage to civilian infrastructure and, according to preliminary data, casualties among civilians.
What happened in the Poltava hromada
As reported, the falling debris from an enemy target damaged a civilian structure, as well as six vehicles. In addition, nearby houses were affected — in particular, their roofs and windows were damaged. The report of the incident came against the backdrop of attacks on August 27–28 that affected facilities in several regions of Ukraine.
Casualties and medical assistance
According to preliminary data, two people were injured as a result of the incident. They are being provided with the necessary medical assistance. The final list of damages and the exact condition of the injured are being clarified at the time of publication.

Context: strikes on business facilities on August 27–28
The attacks on August 27 and 28 affected Ukrainian business facilities in various regions. Among the affected companies and enterprises are Epitsentr, Nova Poshta, Roshen, Comfy, Fora, Aurora, Kolo, as well as bookstores and publishers. On the morning of August 28, Russian troops attacked the territory of a shopping center in Zaporizhzhia: the building was damaged and a fire broke out; according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, one person was reportedly injured, and footage published by the regional administration shows a strike on the Epitsentr building hypermarket. On the night of August 28, the Nova Poshta warehouse complex in the Bilohorodka hromada of Kyiv Oblast was attacked — after the first strike on the facility, two more hits followed, by which time services were already on site and had eliminated the consequences of the attack.
