In the run-up to the return leg against Danish side Copenhagen, the president of Zhytomyr's Polissya, Hennadiy Butkevich, held a motivational meeting with the players. During the discussion, he not only supported the players but also announced surprising news about international interest in the team.

Attention from top leagues

The main news item of the meeting was the announcement that professional scouts from the United Kingdom had arrived in Zhytomyr for the upcoming match. According to Butkevich, this is a direct consequence of the "wolves'" bright performance in the first leg.

The club president emphasized that the specialists arrived specifically from a top-tier championship, confirming the high level of play demonstrated by the team previously.

"In the last game, you showed what you are capable of. We said that we are Ukrainians. You showed that you are true Ukrainians. Proof of that is that three scouts from the United Kingdom will be watching us here, at the stadium," Hennadiy Butkevich stated, addressing the players.

Vision of the future and new ambitions

In addition to tactical instructions and words of support, the club president shared his long-term plans with the footballers. The central topic was the prospect of building a new modern arena in their home city.

Butkevich urged the players to visualize this scenario as motivation: "I can already imagine it, when we come out, there will be such noise here. I imagine that I have already built a stadium in Zhytomyr, and you are playing on it. When you come out, it will be in your honor".

The gathering concluded with a traditional patriotic call: "So let's go, guys. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!".
