The tragic circumstances of the disappearance of the artist, who stood up for the defense of Ukraine after the start of the full-scale invasion, became known thanks to a message from a colleague.
Circumstances of Lost Contact
Information about the missing soldier was disseminated by dubbing actor known by the nickname NoizyMinor, who published a corresponding story on social networks. According to him, Alexander Martynenko has been missing for a week. The artist served in the 158th Separate Mechanized Brigade. The situation is complicated by the fact that the position where the Ukrainian servicemen were located was attacked. According to sources, two Russian FPV drones hit the Ukrainian forces' position. After this strike, contact with the soldiers was completely lost.
Chronology of Disappearance
Details of the tragedy are clarified thanks to messages from an Instagram user with the nickname patrici_ia, who first recorded the disappearance of the artist. According to her data, Martynenko was on a combat mission since April 18, 2026. During this period, contact with him was maintained extremely rarely: voice messages were transmitted to his mother through the battalion commander only twice. The critical moment came at the end of July, when two FPV drones hit the position. It is from this moment that the artist became unreachable.

Currently, there are discrepancies regarding the exact location of the artist at the time of the attack. One of the messages states that there is no official confirmation that Alexander Martynenko was physically present at the position that was shelled at the end of July. However, despite the lack of direct evidence of his presence in the epicenter of the strike, he has been officially recorded as missing in action since August 1, 2026. This creates a situation of uncertainty for relatives and loved ones who continue to wait for news of his fate.
