Turin's Juventus has officially announced the signing of a contract with French national team forward Randal Kolo Muani. The 27-year-old striker has left Paris Saint-Germain to join one of Italy's most decorated clubs. The transfer has been confirmed on the Turin club's official website.
Kolo Muani has signed a five-year deal, running until June 30, 2031. He will wear the iconic number 9 shirt for the "Bianconeri." The total value of the deal is 50 million euros: 38 million is paid in guaranteed installments over four years, with an additional 12 million in performance-related bonuses. The agent's commission for this contract amounted to 3.2 million euros.
Why Turin?
Despite interest from other European clubs, Kolo Muani himself initially preferred to return to Turin. The Frenchman had already played for Juventus on loan during the second half of the 2024/25 season. During that spell, he delivered an impressive performance: scoring 10 goals and providing 3 assists in 22 matches, helping the team secure a spot in the Champions League.
Last season, the striker played for London's Tottenham Hotspur, also on loan. For the English club, he participated in 41 matches across all competitions, scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists.
Strengthening Juve's attack following Vlahovic's departure
The signing of Kolo Muani represents a significant step in strengthening Juventus's attack. This summer, the club saw the departure of star striker Dusan Vlahovic, who could not agree on a new deal due to high financial demands. The arrival of the Frenchman is intended to fill this void and add depth to the Turin side's forward line.
