Ukraine has opened a short window for remote military registration for a specific category of citizens. Young men born in 2009 and their parents can use the simplified procedure via the "Reserve+" mobile app until July 31. This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing an official statement from the Ministry of Defense on Telegram.

Digitalization of a mandatory procedure

The introduction of the online format eliminates the need to visit Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (TRSSC) in person. Users no longer need to waste time waiting in queues or gathering paper documents for initial registration. The entire process is carried out quickly and in digital format.

After successfully completing the actions in the app, the user will be assigned a "Reserve ID" with the status "Conscript." This confirms that the registration procedure has been completed in accordance with legislative requirements.

Deadline and consequences of missing it

It is important to note the strict time limits: the function for remote registration via the app will work only until the end of July. As of August 1, the online registration option will be disabled.

After this date, the procedure will only be possible through a personal visit to the TRSSC. An alternative scenario is automatic registration, which will occur once the young men reach the age of 18.

Why military registration is needed

Official sources emphasize: registration for military service does not mean immediate conscription. This is a mandatory administrative procedure, the result of which is the receipt of a military registration document.

Having this document is critically important for resolving everyday and social issues. It is required when enrolling in educational institutions, applying for employment, receiving state services, or when other important documents need to be issued.
