On the afternoon of August 4, the Russian side launched a rocket strike on a suburb of Odessa. The attack hit a crowded area near a market, which, according to local authorities, indicates the cynical nature of the attack on civilians.
Infrastructure damage and emergency services response
Oleg Kiper, head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration (RMA), confirmed the fact of the strike and the presence of damage to civilian infrastructure. Emergency services immediately began working at the scene. Rescuers promptly extinguished the resulting fire, and the injured received necessary medical assistance.
Consequences of the attack
Preliminary data indicates that two people were injured in the morning air attack in the southern part of the region.
