Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko stated that Moscow has informed Beijing about the outcomes of the visit by US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to the Russian capital. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing RIA Novosti.

According to the representative of the Russian foreign policy body, "there is a constant dialogue between the Russian Federation and the PRC on all the most important issues of interest to us." That is why, in his assessment, information about the results of the US delegation's visit "was conveyed" to the Chinese counterparts. Thus, Russia confirmed that Beijing is aware of the progress of contacts with Washington on the Ukrainian settlement.

It is worth noting that, with US mediation, attempts continue to resume peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, the main goal of which is to end the war unleashed by the aggressor state. The first meeting between US and Russian representatives took place in Moscow on Saturday, September 5. Following the talks, Russian dictator's aide Yuri Ushakov stated that they lasted more than three hours and were "substantive and constructive."

As the Axios source reported, the US delegation, in addition to Witkoff and Kushner, included representatives of the US National Security Council, the State Department, and the Department of the Treasury. Their task was to discuss with the Russian side proposals for ending the war.
