Enterprise Destroyed in Sarny District Following Russian Attack in Rivne Oblast

On September 12, as a result of another aerial attack by Russian forces on the territory of Rivne Oblast, one of the enterprises in Sarny District was destroyed. This was announced by the head of the Rivne Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Koval, as reported by RBC-Ukraine citing his Telegram channel. Preliminary data indicates that no people were injured as a result of the strike and damage to the facility.

Regional Authorities' Calls for Safety Compliance

Oleksandr Koval appealed to the residents of Rivne Oblast to strictly observe safety rules during air alerts and to remain in shelters until the official all-clear. Against the backdrop of the ongoing threat and possible repeated strikes, local authorities also recommend avoiding gas stations and ensuring personal protection in advance.

Scale of the Attack on Western Regions of Ukraine

Rivne Oblast was among the western regions struck by Russian forces during the massive attack on September 12. Civilian, industrial, and transport infrastructure facilities came under fire. In particular, suicide drones were launched against Volyn and Rivne Oblasts. Air defense units were actively operating in both regions.

Strikes on Infrastructure: Train in Lutsk and Facilities in Zhytomyr Oblast

As part of the same attack, Russian forces struck a passenger train in Lutsk. Passengers, reportedly, were evacuated in advance, so there were no casualties; meanwhile, railway workers warned of possible changes to the train schedules. In Zhytomyr Oblast, civilian facilities and local businesses came under attack: in Zvyagel, a grocery store was hit, resulting in two deaths, and gas stations and a local enterprise were also damaged.
