On Friday morning, September 11, Russian occupiers struck two gas stations of the 'Ukrnafta' network in Kyiv. According to Bohdan Kukura, head of the board of JSC 'Ukrnafta,' cited by RBC-Ukraine, the attack was carried out 'late in the morning' by jet-powered drones and affected facilities on both the right and left banks of the capital. As Kukura emphasized, the enemy 'cynically delivered a repeat strike' on one of the stations. As a result, significant destruction of capital buildings and critical damage to equipment were recorded.
'There is no military target': statements by company executives
Serhiy Fedorenko, head of 'Naftogaz,' clarified the geography of the attack: jet-powered drones struck the 'Ukrnafta' gas stations in Troieshchyna and Pochaiv, with the station in Pochaiv suffering a double strike. Both executives unanimously noted that after the air raid alert, staff and customers left the station premises and operations were halted. Kukura and Fedorenko called the incident a 'deliberate strike on civilian objects' that supply people with fuel and essential goods, and emphasized that 'there is no military target in such attacks,' describing it as 'terror against the peaceful population.'
Contradictory data
The two versions of the strike location given by the company executives formally differ in geographic reference but in fact coincide: Kukura describes the facilities by their belonging to the 'right and left banks' of the capital, while Fedorenko names specific districts — Troieshchyna (left bank) and Pochaiv (right bank). These descriptions are mutually consistent and point to the same two stations. A significant discrepancy exists in the data on casualties: following a similar incident on September 10 in the Holosiivskyi district, the State Emergency Service (SES) reported three injured, a damaged bus stop, and several fires, whereas the statements by the heads of 'Ukrnafta' and 'Naftogaz' on September 11 make no mention of victims or injured. Thus, the question of possible human harm from the September 11 strikes remains unconfirmed at the time of publication and requires clarification.

The September 11 attack continued a deliberate campaign against civilian fuel infrastructure. The day before, on September 10, in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, debris from an enemy drone fell on the territory of a gas station, which, according to the SES, led to three people being injured, a bus stop being damaged, and several fires breaking out. As noted in the industry, recently the Russians have carried out a series of strikes on 'Ukrnafta' network facilities outside the capital — the company's enterprises in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions came under fire, indicating the systematic nature of attacks on Ukraine's civilian energy and fuel infrastructure.
