On the morning of September 29, 2026, Russian occupation forces carried out another attack using strike drones against the capital of Ukraine. The Podilskyi district of Kyiv came under enemy fire, where an impact was recorded on a non-residential infrastructure facility.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko promptly confirmed the emergency via his Telegram channel, reporting a fire that broke out at the impact site. Emergency response teams were immediately dispatched to the scene, and State Emergency Service rescuers began containing and extinguishing the blaze. Escalation of Aerial Terror Against the Capital
