Russian occupation administrations and military formations in the temporarily seized territories of southern Ukraine continue their systematic efforts to create large-scale disinformation campaigns. As reported by Ukrainian intelligence and sources within the Defense Forces, the invaders have developed a special manual aimed at forcing residents of occupied Oleshky in the Kherson region to give false staged testimonies.

Details of the Cynical Occupier Scenario

According to documents obtained by the editorial board, the invaders prepared a detailed «Algorithm for Video Interviews with Civilians in Oleshky». According to mass media data, units of the 126th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and the 331st Guards Airborne Regiment may be stationed in occupied Oleshky on the left bank of Kherson. The instruction orders the military to strictly control the filming process, imposing pre-prepared talking points on the local population to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Main Points and Propaganda Clichés

The propaganda scenario demands that intimidated residents declare a so-called «critical situation» and accuse the Armed Forces of Ukraine of allegedly blockading the settlement. Furthermore, the manual forces citizens to claim that Ukrainian drones supposedly control the airspace, purposefully target civilians and homes, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian aid. An additional requirement is to fabricate food blockade stories and create the illusion that survival is only possible due to «assistance» from Russian servicemen.

Real Humanitarian Crisis and Ukraine's Response

It is worth noting that the Russian occupation has led to a humanitarian crisis in Oleshky. People are starving and forced to survive by eating grass and weeds, while Ukrainian military personnel try to save them by dropping food via drones. In response to the enemy's plans to broadcast these staged interviews on federal channels, official Ukraine intends to raise the situation in Oleshky at the OSCE Permanent Council meeting scheduled for October 1.
