New Ukrainian Prime Minister Sergey Koretsky has announced the priorities that will form the foundation of the work of the renewed Cabinet of Ministers. In his address, the head of government outlined a strict agenda, with ensuring the country's defense capabilities and supporting the civilian sector amidst the ongoing war taking top priority.
Full Support for the Defense Forces
The central point of the new Prime Minister's program is the scaling up of Ukraine's defense industry. Koretsky emphasized that the government's main task is to guarantee that soldiers have all the necessary resources to conduct combat operations.
In his statement, he listed specific areas of support:
- Ensuring sufficient forces and means for every long-range operation and high-precision strike.
- Supplying drones of all types to protect frontline positions.
- Developing the production of ground robotic systems.
- Updating the fleet of modern equipment and weaponry.
"We will do everything to ensure Ukrainian soldiers have sufficient forces and means," stated Koretsky, highlighting the necessity of uninterrupted rear support for success at the front.
Social Sphere and Winter Preparation
Aside from military issues, the government is taking responsibility for social stability in the country. The Cabinet of Ministers plans active preparation for the winter period, a critically important stage for infrastructure and the population.
Koretsky confirmed the state's commitment to fulfilling social functions in full. Priorities include:
- Timely payment of pensions and social assistance.
- Financing key state services.
- Support for business and civilian initiatives.
Special attention will be paid to frontline communities, which face the consequences of military actions daily and require urgent state support.
International Partnership and Strategic Course
The government's foreign policy vector remains unchanged. Strengthening interaction with international partners and attracting additional resources have been listed as key priorities. Koretsky noted the importance of using international aid as effectively as possible to solve internal tasks.
Ukraine's strategic goal is full membership in the European Union. "We are getting to work," summarized the new Prime Minister, confirming that the course towards European integration will not change under any circumstances.
