Monitoring systems of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine have recorded a full restoration and significant increase in the speed of Starlink terminals used by the military. According to the agency, connection rates on the front line have exceeded 400 kilometers per hour, ensuring stable and secure communications for defense forces.
Defense Ministry Statement
Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yevhen Khmara confirmed the stabilization of the satellite network in a comment to journalists. According to him, the agency is continuously monitoring the terminals, and recent measurements show consistently high performance indicators.
The head of the defense department emphasized that achieving these results was made possible through direct negotiations and the consistent position of the country's leadership at the highest level. Stable communication is critical for coordinating front-line units.
Significance for the Front Line and Logistics
High data transfer speeds directly impact the combat effectiveness of Ukrainian units. First and foremost, a stable communication channel is essential for the operational control of unmanned aerial vehicles, coordination of logistics chains, and intelligence sharing.
Military engineers and signal units note that previous disruptions have been completely overcome. The Ministry of Defense continues to oversee network operations to guarantee the uninterrupted flow of all critical processes.
Context and Connectivity Prospects
Recall that previously, specialized sources within the defense agency reported a partial resumption of terminal operations at more modest speeds of around 161 kilometers per hour. Prompt intervention by specialists and diplomatic efforts successfully improved signal quality.
Experts note that maintaining the resilience of satellite internet remains a key factor in technological superiority on the battlefield. Continued cooperation with the service provider will help prevent similar technical restrictions in the future.
