Kyiv Dynamo has announced the signing of a contract with 25-year-old defender Alexey Sytsch. Information about the transfer appeared on the club's official website and was confirmed by the publication Sport RBC.UA. The arrival of the experienced player in the ranks of the "white-and-blues" has become a significant squad reinforcement ahead of the crucial Europa League match against Greek PAOK.

Deal Details

The parties have agreed to a cooperation term of three years. The contract includes an option to extend the agreement for an additional season at the discretion of the club and the footballer. Thus, Alexey Sytsch can become part of the team for a minimum of three years, and under favorable circumstances, for four.

The Player's Path to Dynamo

Alexey Sytsch is a native of the village of Zarya in the Rivne region. His professional career began with Lviv's Karpaty. His debut for the main team took place on March 14, 2020. Between 2020 and 2025, the footballer played for Rukh, after which he returned to his native club Karpaty.

During his career in the Ukrainian Premier League, Sytsch has played 87 matches, establishing himself as a reliable right-back. His experience and stability were key factors in the decision to transfer to Dynamo.

Appearances for the Ukraine National Team

Alexey Sytsch already has experience playing for the Ukraine national team. His debut took place on November 19, 2024, in a Nations League match against Albania. For the second time, he took to the field for the country's main team in March 2025 in the Nations League playoffs against Belgium. In that match, the Ukrainians won with a score of 3:1.

Signing Sytsch is not just a squad addition but a strategic decision aimed at strengthening the defense ahead of important European matches. Now, fans' attention will be focused on how the new player will fit into Dynamo's system and whether he can immediately make his mark on the field.
