Ukrainian forces continue to systematically strike key elements of Russian military infrastructure. Between July 20 and the night of July 21, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a series of successful operations, resulting in the destruction of strategically important targets, including rare radar equipment and enemy logistical hubs.
Neutralization of the 'Bussol-S' Radar
One of the most significant results of the conducted operations was the destruction of the 'Bussol-S' radar station in the area of the settlement of Khorly in the Kherson region. This system is specialized equipment designed for the detection and coordinate support of maritime targets.
The presence of such a radar allowed Russian occupiers to effectively control the coastal waters, posing a threat to shipping and naval operations. The destruction of the station deprived the enemy of an important monitoring tool in this sector.
Strikes on Logistics and Command
In addition to specialized equipment, facilities supporting the functioning of the Russian military machine were targeted. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported strikes on ammunition depots and command posts, which inflict significant damage to the combat capabilities of the enemy grouping.
Particular attention was paid to unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control centers. Specifically, drone control points were hit in the following locations:
- Komar village area (Donetsk region);
- Zaporizhzhia village (Donetsk region);
- Suburbs of Kamianske city (Zaporizhzhia region).
Context of Ongoing Operations
These events are a continuation of a series of active actions by Ukrainian troops. On the night of July 19, the Defense Forces struck two Russian tankers in the Black Sea and a floating crane in the Sea of Azov. An S-300 'Buk' air defense missile system was also destroyed near the village of Zelenopole in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Previously, on the night of July 18, Ukrainian drones attacked targets on Russian territory, including a major fire at a Wildberries warehouse in the city of Elektrostal, Moscow region.
The General Staff emphasized that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically carry out measures aimed at stopping the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, continuing to strike at critically important nodes of the enemy's military infrastructure.
