An incident occurred in Kherson, becoming yet another proof of the barbaric attitude of the Russian army towards the civilian population. A video that has circulated on social networks captures the moment when a drone of the aggressor state's army deliberately circles over a local market, hunting for a 52-year-old man.

The victim was a resident of the Mykolaiv region, who at that moment was engaged in peaceful work — selling vegetables. As noted by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kherson region, there are no signs in the footage that the man is a combatant. He was simply serving customers and standing at his stall, but for the Russian military, he became a legitimate target.

The scene of the hunt and the consequences

The video clearly shows the drone circling over the seller's head, leaving him no chance of escape. The man tries to save himself by running, darting around the bus from which he was selling. However, he could not avoid the explosion. As a result of the attack, the victim suffered severe shrapnel wounds, blast trauma, and concussion.

Fortunately, the man survived. Currently, medical personnel are providing him with the necessary assistance, assessing his health condition after the injury. The situation causes deep outrage among law enforcement officers, who call such actions a systematic tactic of the Russian occupiers.

Government reaction and documentation of crimes

The police in the Kherson region emphasized that such footage must be seen by all countries of the world. "These images make the blood run cold and fill the heart with anger," the department stated. Law enforcement officers have already begun the process of documenting another war crime committed by the Russian army.

The incident has received resonance at the level of central authorities. Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha called what happened part of a deliberate and systematic Russian strategy. According to him, the drone operator was fully aware that his target was unarmed civilian population.

"This proves that the Russians will try to repeat the crimes in Bucha wherever they can reach," Sybiha stated in his message.

Escalation of violence in the region

The attack on the vegetable seller was not the only tragedy in recent days in the region. The day before, the Russian army destroyed a unique Cossack church in the Kherson region, which was of great historical significance to the region's residents. In addition, the enemy struck a rescue training facility in Kherson with guided air bombs, continuing to strike infrastructure objects and civilians.
