Tecno smartphone with a bezel-less display
A technological breakthrough in design
The Chinese brand Tecno has unveiled a smartphone concept that could change the perception of mobile device design. The new device is completely devoid of bezels around the screen, making the display visually infinite. Although a small border is still present around the perimeter, the company characterizes the device as having a truly 0mm bezel around the screen.
Innovations in construction
To achieve this result, engineers had to completely rethink the smartphone's construction. Advanced internal layout technologies and a new screen packaging technology were used. Visible bezels are absent, and the display practically floats in the user's hand.
Benefits for the user
Such a design will make watching videos and playing games maximally comfortable. A larger screen can now fit into a familiar-sized body. In one of the illustrations, the device is compared to the iPhone 17 Pro, and the comparison is clearly not in Apple's favor.
Future plans
With this project, Tecno aims to secure a unique brand design and stand out among competitors. In addition to the screen structure, camera mechanisms and touch controls had to be redesigned, sound and the user interface optimized. Tecno will showcase the new smartphone concept at the IFA 2026 ShowStoppers exhibition in September.
