The romantic reality show 'The Bachelor' is returning to the STB channel: the 15th season of the project kicks off on October 16 at 7:00 PM. The main hero of the new season will be Ukrainian basketball player Vyacheslav Kravtsov — a long-time captain of the national team and an NBA player. The show's host, as before, will be Hryhorii Rishetnyk. This is reported by the entertainment project Styler (RBC-Ukraine), citing an official statement from the 'The Bachelor & The Bachelorette' account.
Who is Vyacheslav Kravtsov
Kravtsov is 38 years old, he is from Odesa, and he stands 212 cm tall. For over a decade he was the captain of the Ukrainian national basketball team, played in the NBA for the 'Detroit Pistons' and 'Phoenix Suns', and also played for European clubs. Beyond sports, the athlete runs his own business in the field of maritime logistics. To take part in the project, he will have to leave his familiar court for a 'completely different game' — building a relationship, in which the female contestants will try to win his attention and heart.
Personal life and past experience
Kravtsov already has serious experience in family life: he was married to model Elina Rudenko, and in 2021 the couple had a daughter, Melissa. After the divorce, the athlete continues to spend a lot of time with his child. One of his previous love stories, by his own account, even affected his career: because of the relationship he agreed to a contract with Moscow's CSKA, stayed there for about two and a half months, and then turned down the deal, calling the decision to go to Moscow a mistake and noting that he no longer communicates with that woman.
Expectations from the project
Talking about his participation in 'The Bachelor', Kravtsov described himself as an open and simple person, for whom what matters is not outward appearances but mutual feelings. Among the traits he values in women, he specifically highlighted an interest in life and a desire to grow. 'I think that for me "The Bachelor" will end in a wedding,' the athlete stated. The new season promises first meetings, dates, romantic moments, and tough decisions that can change the participants' lives.
