The region's air defense system operated in normal mode: overnight, air defense forces shot down 15 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in different districts of the region. Information about casualties in Dnipro is being clarified.
Shortage of air defense means and the situation on the front
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed alarming details regarding the country's defense capabilities. According to him, Ukraine critically lacks missiles to protect against Russia's mass attacks with ballistic missiles. The situation is further complicated by the war in the Middle East, which distracts resources and the attention of allies.
In addition to the recent events of July 27, the consequences of a deadly Russian strike that occurred on the afternoon of July 26 continue to be liquidated in Chernihiv. Among the victims of that attack were three children, and a 9-year-old girl was killed.
