UAF Strike Repeaters, Radar, and Equipment Depot in Russia's Rear Over Night — General Staff Report

Over the past night, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to the official report of the General Staff of the UAF, struck a number of Russian infrastructure targets in the combat zone and in the deep rear. As reported by RBC-Ukraine, among the hit targets were ground repeaters, weapons and military equipment storage sites, radar systems, and a facility linked to the use of strike drones.

Strikes on Drone Control Channels

The report places particular emphasis on the destruction of ground repeaters in the areas of Zelenyi Port and Skadovsk in Kherson Oblast, as well as in Chornomorske and Olenivka on the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. According to the General Staff, it was these repeaters that the adversary used to control strike drones of the "Geran"/"Gerbera" type. In Olenivka, an antenna complex was also hit. In Donetsk, according to the same data, a facility where Russian military personnel stored, prepared, and launched strike UAVs was struck.

Radars and Depots Deep Inside Russian Territory

In Bryansk Oblast, near the settlement of Ryovny, the defense forces, according to the report, hit a radar station intended for target tracking. Near Rechitsa, a strike was delivered on a storage site for Russian weapons and military equipment. The General Staff emphasizes that work continues against key military facilities of the adversary.

Context: Strikes on Oil Refineries and "TogliattiKaucuk"

These events come against the backdrop of other statements about operations in the deep rear. Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that the UAF struck two major oil refineries deep inside Russian territory over the course of a night, and the day before, Ukrainian drones attacked the "TogliattiKaucuk" plant in Russia's Samara Oblast.

Contradictory Data

Kyiv's version of the results of the night strikes does not match the picture painted by the Russian side. According to data from the Russian Ministry of Defense (citing kp.ru), the UAF allegedly lost more than 1,300 military personnel in the zone of the so-called "special military operation" in a single day. In turn, according to news.mail.ru, Russian forces struck Ukrainian energy facilities and depots, and a military expert on the same resource explains the "enormous losses" of the Ukrainian troops. Thus, both sides publish one-sided data on their own successes and the enemy's losses, and independent verification of claims about the struck objects is currently impossible.
