Educational project uBoost, in partnership with HAVAS Village Ukraine, has announced the start of applications for the free online program Youth AI School, aimed at young people aged 16–22. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the initiative's organizers. The main goal of the course is to help participants transition from one-off queries to neural networks to the systematic use of artificial intelligence in education, professional activities, and their own projects.
Course Format and Content
The training will take place in the format of seven practical online sessions. Within the program, participants will work with free versions of leading AI systems, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and NotebookLM. The curriculum covers four key blocks: building effective prompts and verifying data authenticity; working with scientific sources and turning lecture notes into structured knowledge bases; digital security, including recognizing deepfakes and protecting personal data; as well as creative industries—image generation, working with texts, storytelling, and creating portfolio materials.
Practical Focus: From Task Diary to Your Own AI Agent
A special feature of the course will be the so-called task diary, in which participants will record routine processes from study and work. Based on the gathered material, each student will develop their own AI agent—a digital assistant designed for planning, working with documents, or analytics. The training will conclude with a Demo Day format: participants will present their projects and receive feedback from experts. Successful graduates will receive certificates of program completion.
Target Audience and Participation Conditions
Young people aged 16 to 22 are invited to participate. Prior experience with technology is not required—the program is designed for beginners. The training is completely free, but participants are expected to be willing to dedicate up to four hours a week to the program. Registration for the course is open until November 20, 2026, and classes are scheduled to start on November 25, 2026.
Context: Growing Demand for AI Skills Among Youth
The launch of Youth AI School comes amid steady growth in interest in applied artificial intelligence in the educational environment of Ukraine. The organizers emphasize that the course is built on the principle "from query to agent": the student first masters basic skills in interacting with language models, then learns to verify results, and ultimately creates an autonomous digital tool for their own tasks. According to uBoost and HAVAS Village, this approach allows youth to quickly develop not just user skills, but a systemic understanding of the capabilities and limitations of AI tools.
