Personnel of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS) have begun forming a so-called 'kill zone' — an area of guaranteed destruction of enemy manpower and equipment. This is not just trenches, but a complex system of engineering structures designed to effectively deter aggression in the event of a breakthrough attempt.
Defensive positions are reinforced with several types of obstacles. 'Czech hedgehogs' and other anti-tank obstacles are being installed on roads and approaches to the border, which are visible even in photographs from border areas.
