On the night of July 18, Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles struck critical logistics hubs deep within Russian territory. According to RBK-Ukraine, citing a statement by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the operations were carried out simultaneously on several fronts, including occupied territories and maritime areas.

Strikes at a Depth of Over 500 Kilometers

The key events of the night were attacks on facilities in the Moscow and Tambov regions. According to official information, strikes were delivered on targets located more than 500 and approximately 700 kilometers from the front line, respectively. This demonstrates a significant increase in the range of Ukrainian strike systems.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy characterized these actions as "long-range sanctions," which proved effective. Specifically, two major logistics centers were hit, which, according to Kyiv, were used by the Russian command to supply sanctioned components. These components are critical for the production of drones and navigation equipment used in the combat zone.

Scale of Operations: From Land to Sea

Operations were not limited to ground targets in central Russia. Zelenskyy confirmed that strikes were also carried out in the waters of the Azov and Black Seas, as well as on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. The comprehensive nature of the attacks is aimed at disrupting the enemy's logistics chains both on land and at sea.

Attacks on logistics hubs in such remote regions as Moscow and Tambov indicate that Ukraine is capable of striking targets responsible for supplying the Russian war machine far beyond the front-line zone. This creates serious problems for the Russian industry, which depends on the import of sanctioned technologies.
