His performance, built on personal stories and sharp observations, made such a strong impression on the jury that actor Stas Boklan pressed the Golden Button — a special mark meaning the artist advances directly in the competition. For a comedian who had spent years honing his craft on small stages, this became a truly turning point in his career.
A Performance Built on Personal Experience
Dmytro took the stage with a classic stand-up set, in which he joked a lot about his own life, his participation in talent shows, his personal relationships, and other situations familiar to the audience. Behind the Scenes: The Path from Hospital to Stage
Behind Dmytro's bright stage persona lies a difficult biography. He is from Kamianets-Podilskyi, but already in early childhood he faced a serious diagnosis: when the boy was just one year old, doctors identified cerebral palsy. A significant part of his childhood he spent in hospitals, sanatoriums, and rehabilitation centers. Later, Dmytro moved to Germany, where he continued to receive the necessary medical support and undergo rehabilitation. Despite the difficulties, he never stopped developing as an artist and gradually built a career as a stand-up comedian, performing for the Ukrainian diaspora abroad.
Humor as a Way to Talk About the Difficult
In his performances, Dmytro uses humor not to hide the difficult moments of life, but on the contrary — to talk about them openly, lightly, and in a way others can understand. He does not avoid personal topics, everyday situations, or moments that can sometimes be hard to speak about out loud.
