On July 30 in Kyiv, at the Parkovyi Conference Center, the large-scale Ukraine Investment Congress (UIC) took place. Under the slogan "I, You, Society: Investing in the Country's Future," the event brought together more than 2,000 participants — from developers and architects to government officials and major investors. Running parallel to the main program was the XVII All-Ukrainian Architectural Competition "Interior of the Year 2026".
Key Discussions: From Tourism to the Battle of Assets
The congress agenda was packed with practical sessions aimed at analyzing the current economic situation and identifying growth points. The first panel discussion, moderated by Dmitry Karpilovsky, founder of UkrInvestClub, focused on domestic tourism as a defensive asset. Experts discussed the vectors of capital movement for Ukrainian investors amidst current challenges.
The second session, titled "State in a Smartphone," addressed the issue of digitalization. Participants included the Deputy Minister for Recovery, Infrastructure, and Transport, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation. The conversation centered on how the implementation of digital tools breaks down bureaucratic barriers and simplifies business operations.
One of the most anticipated panels was "Battle of Assets 2026-27." In a live analysis format, experts discussed investment strategies that will allow capital to grow right now. The concluding block of discussions touched upon important social and technical aspects: inclusivity in space development, transparency and payback of facade systems, as well as issues of energy independence for the industry.
Deregulation Workshop and Award Ceremony
A separate significant event was the workshop by the State Regulatory Service. More than 70 representatives of ministries and state services participated. Participants focused on current issues of state regulation, deregulation, and simplification of permitting procedures to create a favorable investment environment.
The evening part of the event concluded with a solemn award ceremony for the winners of the "Interior of the Year 2026" competition. Awards were presented within the framework of the partnership between UIC and the competition. Among the winners was "Artistic office of a notary" (Oksana Dolgopiatova, Dolgopiatova Design).
