The Ukrainian government has made an unprecedented decision: the state will grant businesses priority access to state-owned premises for the dispersal of warehousing capacity. This measure is designed to protect critical logistics from systematic strikes by the Russian army.

Three-day deadline

Prime Minister Serhiy Kretskiy has issued a strict directive to the relevant ministries. The Ministry of Economy, the Agency for Restructuring and Asset Management (ARMA), and the State Property Fund must prepare a list of objects that can be transferred for business needs within three days.

"Standard approaches do not work in wartime conditions — we need fast and non-standard solutions," emphasized the head of the government.

The main goal of the initiative is to ensure uninterrupted supplies of food, medicine, and essential goods, especially to frontline regions where the logistics situation is most acute.

Scale of destruction

The decision to transfer state property was made against the backdrop of massive attacks on logistics infrastructure. Russian strikes have caused colossal damage to key market players:

  • INTERTOP Ukraine: The main logistics warehouse was completely destroyed. Before the attack, tens of thousands of orders were shipped from it daily across the country.
  • LIQUI MOLY Ukraine: The central warehouse suffered serious damage, although the company is already working on resuming supplies.
  • Major retailers and logistics companies: As a result of the night attack, facilities belonging to "Epicenter", ROZETKA, and "Nova Poshta" were damaged.
  • BookChef: The publisher's second warehouse was destroyed, where more than 100,000 books were burned.

Fighting for supplies

The Prime Minister noted that the enemy is deliberately striking enterprises that supply millions of Ukrainians. In conditions where traditional methods of work have ceased to be effective, the state is taking on the role of guarantor of supply continuity. Now businesses will be able to find alternative sites for storing goods faster, minimizing the risks of repeated losses.
