The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced a temporary suspension of processing certain types of deferments in the "Reserve+" mobile application. The restrictions will take effect on October 23, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. due to scheduled technical maintenance in state registries.
Reasons and Schedule for Technical Restrictions
The scheduled maintenance will affect the systems of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and last for several days. Full operation of the services is expected to resume approximately on October 26, 2026, after 08:00 a.m. The agency has promised to announce the completion of technical procedures through official channels.
Due to these works, it will temporarily be impossible to apply for deferments related to having children, caring for close relatives, or belonging to the family of a defender. The Ministry of Defense emphasized that these routine operations are aimed at improving the future integration and interaction of state databases.
Recommendations for Users and Data Security
Representatives of the defense agency urged users not to log out of their accounts in the application. Re-authorizing or attempting to sign in again will not speed up the process or restore access to suspended services while technical measures are underway.
At the same time, citizens whose information regarding an already issued deferment is already displayed in their electronic military registration document do not need to worry about its safety. All previously downloaded data and confirmed statuses will remain active and accessible in the system after the maintenance is completed.
Digitalization Context and Booking System Changes
Temporary technical pauses in digital services occur against the backdrop of large-scale digitalization of military registration and the integration of various departmental registries. Previously, Ukraine launched automated deferment extension mechanisms, allowing more than 90% of active applicants to renew status without visiting state institutions.
In parallel, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine finalized key changes to the conscript reservation system. Under the new rules, the maximum reservation level can no longer reach 100%, which also applies to strategic energy and defense-industrial complex enterprises.
