The new season of the Ukrainian Basketball Championship within the Superleague is officially set to start on October 1, 2026, promising fans exciting confrontations and intriguing matches. Around 75 regular-season and playoff games will be available live on the popular movie and television platform Kyivstar TV, which secured broadcasting rights via the specialized TV channel KSTB Basketball. This event marks a new milestone in popularizing domestic basketball and increasing its accessibility to a wide audience.
Team Lineups and Tournament Calendar
In the 2026/2027 season, ten professional clubs will compete for the coveted championship. Among the participants are famous teams such as Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv-Basket, Kharkiv Falcons, Cherkasy Monkeys, Rivne, Prykarpattya-Goverla, Volyn, and Niko-Basket. The intense regular championship will run until March 29, 2027, followed by the decisive playoff stage scheduled for April 4 through May 3.

Kyivstar TV undertakes massive commitments by broadcasting exactly half of all championship matches in an exclusive format. Viewers will be able to enjoy the skills of leading basketball masters, including such talented athletes as Danylo Sypalo, Yehor Sushkin, Andriy Agafonov, and Kyrylo Marchenko. All broadcasts will feature professional Ukrainian commentary on the KSTB Basketball channel, available on smartphones, tablets, Smart TVs, and specialized set-top boxes.
