The Defense Forces of Ukraine have carried out a successful series of strikes against strategic military targets within the territory of the Russian Federation and in temporarily occupied areas. The operation, conducted on October 12 and into the night of October 13, 2026, targeted critical enemy military infrastructure, including missile system repair bases and radar stations.
Operation Details and Damaged Facilities in Russia
During the day and night strikes, Ukrainian forces hit a repair base for self-propelled launchers and transport-loading vehicles of the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system near the settlement of Kondrinka in the Kursk region. This base played a critical role in maintaining the combat readiness of units shelling Ukrainian cities. Additionally, in the Bryansk region near the settlement of Shkryabino, an enemy radar station was successfully destroyed, significantly reducing the adversary's air target detection capabilities.
Strikes on Logistics and Troop Concentrations
In addition to targets inside the Russian Federation, strikes hit the rear infrastructure and logistics hubs of Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region. Specifically, a large fuel and lubricants depot was hit in the Dovzhansk area, and an ammunition depot was destroyed near Rubizhne.
Geography of Strikes on Enemy Personnel
Simultaneously with strikes on equipment and logistics, Ukrainian units delivered fire damage to areas where Russian army personnel were concentrated. Enemy manpower clusters were recorded and successfully attacked in the areas of Selydove, Rozdolne, Suzhenko, and Myrnograd in the Donetsk region, as well as in Naberezhne in the Zaporizhzhia region and Kuzemivka in the Luhansk region. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasizes that systematic work to weaken the aggressor's offensive potential continues.
Contradictory Data
While the Ukrainian command reports large-scale and successful strikes on key military bases and depots, official Russian agencies traditionally provide minimal commentary regarding the incidents in the Kursk and Bryansk regions. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims successful air defense operations and the interception of most drones, yet independent satellite imagery and monitoring group data confirm infrastructural damage in the specified areas.
