According to experts, timely submission of documents can save apartment and house owners up to 10,000 UAH per season.

Homeowners with electric heating are eligible for a special preferential tariff that allows for a significant reduction in utility expenses during the winter period. However, as noted by DTEK, this tariff is not applied automatically—it must be arranged in advance. To do this, citizens need to prepare a package of documents, submit an application on the distribution system operator’s website, and wait for the data to be updated in the system.

An important condition for receiving the benefit is the presence of a note about electric heating in the technical passport of the property. If such a record is missing, an additional inspection of the equipment by energy company specialists may be required. This can take time, so experts strongly recommend not delaying the document submission until the last moment.
