A major incident has occurred in the Strait of Hormuz, affecting the interests of the international community. As a result of a missile attack launched by Iran on two oil tankers, Ukrainian citizens were injured. This was officially announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiha.
Details of the tragedy and casualties
The attack resulted in casualties and injuries among the crew members. According to the latest data, one Indian citizen died. He was on board a vessel named "Mombasa". Another eight people were injured with varying degrees of severity, four of whom are in critical condition.
Among the injured are six Indian citizens and two Ukrainian citizens. Ukrainian diplomats have already begun working to assist their compatriots.
