The schedule was published on the league's official website and confirmed by specialized sports media. The round, which will take place after the international break, will span four days — from Friday, October 9 to Monday, October 12, 2026 — and includes eight fixtures, the central event of which will be the capital derby between Dynamo and Karpaty.
Friday opener: Veres vs Shakhtar
Round 8 will be opened by the match between Veres and Shakhtar, which will take place on Friday, October 9, at the stadium in Uzhhorod. Kick-off will be at 15:30 Kyiv time. For the Donetsk club, which is traditionally one of the championship favourites, the trip to Zakarpattia will be the first test after the international break. Veres, for its part, will try to use the home atmosphere to pick up points against one of the league's strongest opponents.
Saturday block: three matches in one day
Saturday, October 10, will be the busiest day of the round. At 13:00, two matches will kick off simultaneously: Odesa's Chornomorets will host Kharkiv, while Kolos will face Epitsentr.
