The final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup brought together not only football fans but also stars from other sports in the stands of the stadium in New Jersey. One of the most notable guests of the event was Alexander Usyk, the undisputed heavyweight world champion.
The Ukrainian boxer attended the decisive match accompanied by his wife, Kateryna. At the stadium, Usyk met with the legendary defender of the Spanish national team, Sergio Ramos. The meeting took place in the VIP zone, where the athletes warmly greeted each other and shook hands.
Support for the "La Roja" from the boxing world
The meeting of these two sports legends was not accidental. Previously, Alexander Usyk had already noted Sergio Ramos as one of the stars of the Spanish team whom he admires. In a video published on the boxer's Instagram, it is visible how they communicate warmly and support each other.
Usyk captioned the video with words of support: "Great to see you. We support the same team. Go, Spain!". It is worth noting that it was the Spanish national team that became world champions for the second time in its history in this match.
