Famous Ukrainian comedian and TV host Vladimir Shumko shared his journey to a new physique. The artist admitted that over the last few years, he managed to lose 17 kilograms of excess weight. However, according to him, this result was not achieved quickly — the weight loss process stretched over four years.
Medical approach to weight loss
Shumko emphasized that losing weight was not easy for him. He turned to a professional doctor who helped control the process and select the necessary medications and dietary supplements. According to the artist, he underwent numerous tests, and the doctor selected 18 different supplements for him.
"I took many tests, and a professional doctor who helps me lose weight selected various supplements for me. I currently have 18 jars of them," Shumko shared in an interview with RBK-Ukraine LIFE.
The metabolism problem
One of the main problems the comedian faced was poor metabolic health. Therefore, the main task was to "speed it up." According to Shumko, this is ultimately what helped him get rid of excess weight.
"The last such weight loss was over the last two years," the artist noted, adding that the process happened gradually: first he lost weight, then maintained the achieved weight, and then returned to the weight loss process again.
The path to fame
Vladimir Shumko is from Uman in the Cherkasy region. His path in humor began during his university studies, where he played in KVN. Then the artist began to develop professionally in the improvisation genre and became a member of the "Black Square" theater-studio.
