The children's version of the Ukrainian «Voice» has showcased young performers for several seasons whose names viewers still remember. However, after the finals, the winners' paths diverged: some returned to television as adult artists, some went abroad to build an English-language career, and others gradually disappeared from the media space. We look at what happened to the main characters of the first five seasons of «Voice Kids» and how their lives changed years after winning.
Anna Tkach: Victory in the First Season and Rare Media Appearances
The first season of «Voice Kids» in 2012 ended with the victory of Anna Tkach, who performed in Oleh Skrypka's team and was remembered by viewers for her powerful vocals and performance of Ukrainian songs. After her victory, she continued making music: in 2017, Anna participated in the «Chervona Ruta» festival, where she won the second prize. Subsequently, however, the young woman began to appear much less frequently in the Ukrainian media space, and currently, there is no confirmed information about her active music projects. That is why her story noticeably differs from the trajectories of other participants who continued to regularly appear on television or develop public careers.
Roman Sasanchyn: Double Victory and Studio Work
The second season of «Voice Kids» in 2015 was won by Roman Sasanchyn from Tina Karol's team, who already possessed strong vocals at the time and grew significantly in recognition after the show. In 2020, he returned to the stage of the adult «Voice of the Country» and won again — once more in Tina Karol's team, becoming one of the most striking examples of an artist who managed to achieve success in both children's and adult vocal projects. In the following years, his life changed: Roman married Ivanna, the couple had a daughter named Elizabeth, and later the spouses divorced. Currently, according to available data, Sasanchyn works in a recording studio as a session musician and creates custom music.
Elina Ivashchenko: From X-Factor to Cruise Ships
The third season of «Voice Kids» in 2016 was won by Elina Ivashchenko from Tina Karol's team, who continued participating in major vocal competitions after the show. In 2019, she won «X-Factor», and in 2020, she participated in the National Selection for «Eurovision» with the song Get Up, taking fifth place while continuing to work on her own repertoire. After the start of the full-scale invasion, the artist went abroad, worked on cruise ships, and taught vocals. In 2025, Elina returned to Ukraine and presented her original song «More» (Sea).
Daneliya Tuleshova: International Stage and Career in the US
The fourth season of «Voice Kids» in 2017 was won by Daneliya Tuleshova from MONATIK's team, whose performances featured powerful vocals, and whose victory brought her popularity not only in Ukraine but also abroad. In 2018, she represented Kazakhstan at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, taking sixth place, and attracted even greater international attention in 2020 by participating in the American show America's Got Talent. Subsequently, the singer focused on English-language music and developing her career in the US; in 2024, she graduated from high school in Brooklyn. Among her works are original compositions with which she is gradually moving away from the wunderkind image and shaping her own style.
Andria Zazarashvili: Fifth Season Final and Life in New York
The fifth winner of «Voice Kids» in 2019 was Andria Zazarashvili from the «Vremya i Steklo» group's team, who caught viewers' attention with his strong voice and performance technique. At the time of the show, he lived in Georgia, and his victory marked the conclusion of the fifth season of the Ukrainian version of the project and one of the most prominent moments of the final. After the show, the singer did not appear in Ukrainian media as often as some other winners: according to available data, he continues to sing, maintains a personal blog, shoots entertainment videos, and lives in New York.
Thus, five years after the «Voice Kids» finals, each of the winners has forged their own trajectory: from returning to the adult stage and international projects to working in the studio and living abroad. The story of these artists clearly demonstrates how participating in a children's talent show becomes merely a starting point, while the further path is determined by personal decisions, circumstances, and the choice of language and platform for creativity.
