On Sunday, November 1, forecasters predict mostly cloudy weather with sunny intervals across Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, cited by RBC-Ukraine, precipitation in the form of rain will occur in certain regions, while fog will be observed in some areas in the west of the country. Thus, the transition from October to November coincides with cool and humid weather typical of late autumn.

Where it will rain on November 1

According to meteorologists, the precipitation zone will cover the northeast of Ukraine, as well as the Kyiv and Cherkasy regions. Overnight, rain already passed through the eastern regions of the country. Significant precipitation is not expected in the rest of the territory, although patches of fog, especially in the west, may reduce visibility on the roads.

Temperature and wind: cool, but no frosts

The wind will blow mainly from the northwest at a speed of 5–10 m/s. At night, air temperatures ranged between 2–8 degrees Celsius, while in the east and southeast of the country it was noticeably warmer, reaching up to +11 degrees. During the day, thermometers will show 6–11 degrees Celsius, and in Transcarpathia, as well as in the south and east, the air will warm up to +15 degrees in some places. No frosts are expected on this day.

Weather in Kyiv and Kyiv Region

In the capital and Kyiv region, November 1 will be cloudy with forecasters predicting rain. At night, the temperature in the region was 2–7 degrees Celsius, and during the day the air will warm up to 6–11 degrees. In Kyiv itself, nighttime thermometers showed +5…+7 degrees, with daytime temperatures expected around +8…+10 degrees. Kyiv residents should take an umbrella and warm clothing, especially those planning to stay outside during the day.

Hydrological warning until November 13

Separately, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warned about dangerous hydrological phenomena that will persist in several regions until November 13. A low autumn water stage regime will remain in effect on certain rivers of the Dniester basin in the Lviv region, the San sub-basins in the Lviv region, and the Western Bug in the Lviv and Volyn regions. Water levels will remain close to the minimum values for the entire observation period, and in some areas may drop even lower.

River water content will remain low, in some places falling below low-water criteria. Channel overgrowth with aquatic vegetation will persist in certain areas, and complete cessation of flow is possible on some small rivers. These phenomena may affect the operation of small reservoirs and water supply in coastal settlements, so hydrologists recommend taking the situation into account when planning water-related activities.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported on what the weather was like on the last day of October, and the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warned what Ukrainians should expect from November and how the weather will surprise this year. Thus, the first day of November will be a continuation of cool and humid autumn weather, with low river water levels remaining the main feature of the month in the west of the country.
