The water levels in most rivers are below or significantly below the norm. The most difficult situation has developed on the Pripyat, Western Bug, and Southern Bug rivers. Water flow on these waterways has dropped below the ecological norm, creating a critical threat to river ecosystems and biodiversity.

Meteorologists note that the period of intense heat is gradually receding. It is being replaced by an atmospheric front that may bring thunderstorms, hail, and squalls; however, the main precipitation is expected today, August 11. According to meteorologists, the bad weather began to subside as early as August 10. In the coming days, the weather will be shaped by an anticyclone, which promises stable weather without precipitation, with the exception of local brief rains in the west and north today.
