On July 22, the weather in Ukraine will be a real test for residents of different regions: the country will literally be divided into two parts. While thunderstorms with hail and gusty winds are expected in the southwest, calm, warm weather will prevail in the center and east.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing data from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Gusts and hail in the southwest

The most difficult situation is forecast for the Odesa region. Meteorologists warn of the possibility of significant precipitation, hail, and gusty winds, with gusts reaching 15–20 m/s. In some places in the southwestern part of the country, there will be short-term rain showers with thunderstorms.

Warmth in the south and east

It will be noticeably warmer in the southern and eastern regions of the country. At night, the temperature will be 14–19°C, and during the day, the air will warm up to 24–29°C. The wind will be westerly and northwesterly at 5–10 m/s.

Weather in Kyiv

The capital and Kyiv region will be without precipitation. Variable cloudiness is expected, with a westerly wind at 5–10 m/s. At night in Kyiv, it will be 13–15°C, and during the day — 22–24°C. In the region, it will be slightly cooler at night — 10–15°C, and during the day — 21–26°C.

Magnetic storms and well-being

Earlier, meteorologists had already warned about unstable weather with sharp temperature fluctuations throughout the week. In addition, specialists reported magnetic storms at the end of July, which could worsen the well-being of weather-sensitive people.
