Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has officially launched two new home appliance models on the European market: the Mijia Washing Machine and the Mijia Washer-Dryer combo. The new products are already available for purchase, and the company has launched them with attractive introductory discounts.
The basic washing machine is offered at a price of €450 instead of the recommended €500. The more functional model, combining washing and drying, costs €480, which is €80 cheaper than the original price of €560.
Technical specifications and features
Both models feature a front-loading format and are equipped with a drum with a diameter of 525 mm. They are powered by an inverter motor, providing a spin speed of up to 1400 revolutions per minute. The maximum laundry load for washing is 8 kg for both machines. The version with the drying function is capable of drying up to 6 kg of laundry in a single cycle.
The washer-dryer meets the European energy efficiency class D. According to the manufacturer, its energy consumption is 306 kWh per 100 standard wash and dry cycles.
The new models come with several useful features for laundry care and hygiene:
- Hot steam treatment to reduce the number of bacteria and allergens.
- Color display for convenient program selection.
- Automatic drum cleaning at high temperatures.
- Express wash mode, allowing you to wash clothes in just 15 minutes.
Smart ecosystem and warranty
Like other devices in the Xiaomi ecosystem, the new washing machines support the Xiaomi Home app. Users can remotely start washing, change program settings, monitor the status of the appliances, and receive software updates directly from their smartphones.
Both models come with a standard two-year warranty. At the same time, the manufacturer provides an extended 12-year warranty on the inverter motor, highlighting confidence in the reliability of the key components of the appliances.
