Ukrainian rapper and soldier YARMAK (Oleksandr Yarmak) has become a father for the second time. His wife Anna gave birth to a son on a date symbolic for the family — August 24, Ukraine's Independence Day. As Styler notes, the artist shared the joyful news on Instagram, publishing the first photos of the newborn. In one shot, the father holds his tiny son in his arms and gazes at him intently; in another, Anna lies in a hospital room with the baby at her chest.
Birth on Independence Day
The very date of birth added a special symbolism to the newborn's arrival. In his post, YARMAK played on the fact that his son was born on Independence Day and addressed the country on the baby's behalf: "Sviatoslav Oleksandrovych congratulates everyone on the 35th anniversary of Ukrainian independence!" — wrote the artist. Thus, the family's personal event coincided with a national date, underscoring the patriotic message of the post.
Name and a Message About the Future
The couple has already revealed the baby's name — the boy was named Sviatoslav. In the same message, the rapper spoke about his son's future in Ukraine and made an emotional statement: "And we welcome him into this world and promise to do everything so that the future of children in Ukraine is bright and protected!" — he added. These words became not only a family confession but also a public message of support for the country amid the war.
Reaction from Ukrainian Celebrities
Ukrainian celebrities have already reacted to the couple's announcement of the new addition to the family. Among those who congratulated Oleksandr and Anna are Tarabarova, Jerry Heil, Marychka Padalko, Olya Polyakova, and other artists. The wave of congratulations confirmed the high resonance of the news in Ukraine's media space.
Family and the Artist's Path
Oleksandr and Anna have been together for many years: in July 2026, the couple marked their 10th wedding anniversary, on the occasion of which Anna published archival wedding photos and confessed her love to her husband. For the couple, Sviatoslav is the second child — they also raise a daughter, Solomiya, who was born in June 2019. After the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, YARMAK stood up to defend Ukraine: the artist serves in the Defense Forces while continuing to make music and support Ukrainian military personnel.
