During a joint press conference with Irish Prime Minister Michael Martin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed important details regarding diplomatic efforts to end the conflict. The head of state confirmed that the United States has already developed several scenarios for ending the war with Russia.

According to the Ukrainian leader, a working meeting took place the previous day with American representatives — Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff. Representatives from the Ukrainian side also participated in the negotiations: Head of the GUR Kyrylo Budanov, as well as Kyslytsia and Umurov. The main topic of the dialogue was the possibility of organizing trilateral negotiations.
Zelensky emphasized that the American side intends to share its ideas not only with Kyiv but also with Moscow. "The US has several plans to end the war. They will share these ideas with us," the president noted.
Visit to the US and Meeting Timeline
Volodymyr Zelensky announced his imminent visit to the United States. According to him, the meeting with the American side will most likely take place on US territory. The exact date has not yet been confirmed, but, according to the president's assessment, negotiations could take place in the coming days or within the next week. The parties only need to synchronize their schedules.
Goal: Meeting Before Autumn
The key condition for Zelensky is holding a new trilateral meeting of representatives from Ukraine, the US, and Russia before the onset of autumn. The president expressed regret that the process is being delayed, noting: "If it depended on Ukraine, this meeting would have already taken place in July. But not everything depends on us".
