The Ukrainian leadership continues to consistently build up the potential of so-called long-range sanctions against the Russian Federation, focusing on strategic planning and expanding capabilities to strike deep into enemy territory. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a series of key meetings with the military command and leadership of security agencies, during which new large-scale operations aimed at weakening the aggressor's military potential were detailed and approved.

Strategic Planning and Military Leadership

During the working week, the Head of State met with the Minister of Defense and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Drapatyi. The main topic of the closed-door talks was the practical implementation and further scaling of long-range operations. Following the meeting, the Ukrainian leader concisely stated in his official Telegram channel that new tasks in this direction have already been fully defined.

International Support and Arms Supplies

In parallel with military planning, Volodymyr Zelenskyy held an expanded coordination meeting with the team of the Ministry of Defense and the diplomatic team of the President's Office. The key issue on the agenda was strict control over the schedule of military aid and arms supplies from international partners. The President emphasized that all previously reached agreements are absolutely clear and reinforced daily by new agreements.

Prospects for Strengthening Aviation and Air Defense

An important element of the nationwide strategy remains the technological renewal of Ukrainian combat aviation and air defense systems. It was previously reported about substantial support from the Netherlands, which will help significantly increase the effectiveness of F-16 fighters in destroying enemy drones. In addition, in the near future, Ukrainian pilots will begin training on French Rafale fighter jets, while Paris is preparing a new defense aid package.
