Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during his official visit to the United Kingdom, met with the country's new Prime Minister, Andy Burnham. Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to the United Kingdom for the decision to transfer radio electronic warfare (EW) technologies to Ukraine, intended for protecting Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. According to the President, these solutions will be extremely useful in the conditions of modern warfare.
"Together we can do even more in the field of drones and other technologies," emphasized the head of the Ukrainian state, focusing on the potential for further deepening of the partnership.
Context of the visit
British media announced Zelenskyy's arrival as early as the morning, indicating a high level of preparation and the importance of this stage of bilateral relations. The visit to the naval base and the meeting aboard the aircraft carrier symbolize not only the strength of the British fleet but also London's readiness to provide military and technological support to Kyiv.
